Asraiya of Petting Zoo Players- contact me
I have been working w/fire for 10 years now. I've been in Magmavox, Mystic Family Circus, Pure Cirkus, B-Man Fire Conclave, and many others. I am currently w/the Petting Zoo Players in Seattle but we do mostly stilt-walking gigs and roaming characters of a clown-like nature specializing in monkeys... I do fire eating, body transfers, breathing, poi, fans, staff, and double staff is my current focus.
If you have at least somewhat of a history in martial arts or as a performer especially dance and theater I'm interested in hearing from you. I am willing to teach a class/give lessons for cash or trade for burlesque, or aireal lessons, or use of a space for the class when the weather gets bad. This could potentially turn into a troup! I have been working for months now on networking to manifest some visions I have into theatrical productions that I choreograph and direct. Money is always a frustrating distraction for us artists hence the need to ask for funds but 10 years experience is a major investment as well. Traditionally passing the torch in circus arts has always been done in a sacred way not as a marketable product. I do see fire manipulaction as a spiritual gift and expect it to be received that way- w/ honor and respect.
I'm not on tribe that much. Try me at myspace.com/heartsinspyre if you're on there
or heartsinspyre@yahoo.com if I don't respond soon on tribe.

playing with fire
i just moved here to seattle about 5 months ago. I love to hoop and have fire hooped a bit in the past. i have always been interested in fire spinning, POI. I have no idea of how to though and would love to learn. Back in LA there are quite a few groups that get together once a week and teach and learn. i would love to find something like that up here! and it would be awesome to meet some people that have the same interests of playing with fire! - *jMe* , posted 08/01/06

Fire Dance
I really enjoy watching fire dancing. I am also interested in poi, although I would never practice either professionally. It's difficult! - Unsubscribed , posted 02/03/06

Ample and enthused wish to expand
wish to better my fire dance, so this is a call to the northwest firesprites.
Lets unite, and I'd be willing to offer a fair amount of chocolate for your lessons.
Sincerely,
kindled flame - mz.skip , posted 02/01/06
