Really comfortable and friendly, good food/coffee, and a Collective!
I went there for the first time last week, but I'll be back! I don't ordinarily seek vegan food, but it was really good... - Craig , posted 01/26/06

I'm not even vegan -- and I LOVE IT!
The highest compliment I can pay a vegan restaurant is that even as someone with a relatively nonrestrictive diet, I LOVE THEIR FOOD. I brought an avowed bacon-lover to breakfast at Wayward, and there was not a single muttering about missing meat. We were both in (no)-hog-(products) heaven! Highly recommended for the atmosphere and vibe as much as the amazing food, too. What a Seattle jewel. - Ariel , posted 01/21/06

Mucho Gusto!!!
They have a shower in the bathroom! Need I say more? Okay... maybe I do. The only vegtan restaurant in Seattle (that I'm aware of) that prefers to trade/barter over accepting cash. Top-notch home cookin by friendly people with funny haircuts. yay! - onlinerex , posted 01/06/06

amazing food & community
The first day I walked in, I ended up washing dishes in exchange for dinner and getting a place to stay during my visit in Seattle. Excellent vegan cooks!!! Thanks for making me feel at home :) You know where to find me if you guys and gals ever need a place in Philly. Peace, Love & Anarchy, Christina - Pippi , posted 12/17/05

My very favorite place to eat in Seattle
Oh Wayward....what in the world would I do without you?
Where would i eat?
I don't know what to do on Mondays and Tuesdays when you're not open !
this place has THE yummiest food in Seattle....this is the kind of place you can even take your non-vegan friends to and they'll appreciate it.....it's just THAT good.
Awesome breakfasts ( my favorite is the super-green ), Best pancakes EVER( including any non-vegan pancake i've ever had),delicious dinners, and home-baked daily desserts temptingly await you.
Casual, comfortable atmosphere.
Super nice folks who cook up a mean meal.
If i left this city, it'd be what i miss the most....nowhere else like it in all the world, and i've been a lot of places! - michi , posted 12/01/05

A REASON TO LIVE IN SEATTLE
One of the best places to eat in the world. Vegan, organic, mostly homemade. By Punks with alot of cooking experience. Friendly, cumfy place. It's our favorite place to eat out of many vegan/veggi restaurants. VERY low-good prices too!. Closed on Monday and Tuesday. BEST DAMN FOOD!!! - ஓ miahlikemaya , posted 11/23/05
