I love a homey little used book store as well as anyone, but now and again when I want the full-on drowning in affordable books experience, I get on down to Half Price Books. My current favorite is the new Capitol Hill Store, not only the largest in town, but the largest in the 13-state chain. I never walk out empty-handed. They also buy books, though their prices aren't the best.
