 The food is very good (although not quite gourmet) but the atmosphere, the charm, the love that thisplace exudes makes it a wonderful well kept secret on the hill. Oh, and killer drinks at the bar and fantastic wine selection to boot. I *heart* chez gaudy... - pxiLola , posted 12/18/06 |

Only the most adventerous and daring frequent Chez Gaudy; once you try to find it on your own you will understand that this place naturally filters the clientele. I think there are pirates in the back courtyard. There are fersure delightful cocktails to be had on the chaise. - girl , posted 09/19/05 |

Kelly and company at Chez Gaudy are off the hook when it comes to making you feel at home. This is a boutique restaurant with the kind of service no mass production house can touch. When it comes to hanging out on Capital Hill in a chill, eclectic and intimate space, this is the place to go. If you love goat cheese and pears Chez's is a must. And if you want a 4 oz Martini that rocks your world, order a Rolftini.
