Great family park
carkeek park has it all... trails, ponds w/ ducks & salmon, a salt water beach great for lookin' for crabbies & other critters, a park w/ lots of equipment for kids to play on and trains that go by every 20 minutes or so that kids of all ages enjoy! - Robin , posted 04/18/05

A forest and beach close to Seattle
Take a hike on well-groomed trails at a lovely park only a few miles north of downtown Seattle. The trees and plant life are awesome and the beach although a bit small is a nice place to watch the sun set over the Olympics. - Jennifer , posted 09/28/04
