Great for a big group.
Three people were having birthdays within a 1-2 week period, so a whole bunch of us went to Buca di Bepo to celebrate. We sat at the Pope's table and brought our appetites, and it was really a fun time (and I was stuffed afterwards). You have to bring a large group, though, because most dishes were way bigger than we thought they'd be (we couldn't even finish all the salads we ordered), so be careful with that. - Inna , posted 03/29/06

Not a fan...
Ok, so the food isn't that bad. I'm just not personally a fan of the traditional italian cuisine. Spaghetti and meatballs and creamy, greasy fetticuine. The atmosphere and decor is quite fun but most the time its too crowded there and when I went there the service wasn't all that great. - Caitlin , posted 01/02/06

They feed you like you are starving....
Being really picky about my Italian dining experience, I had heard rave reviews about Buca, and on my birthday went and had the "Buca Experience." Just two of us for dinner was a mistake, for they serve up dinner "family style" on giant platters, and then you dish up onto your own plate. They feed you like you were starving, and like at home, when I dont want to "put away left overs" I really pile it on everybody's plates. Wonderful, southern Itallian comfort food is what you will find at Buca di Bepo. Filled pastas, canneloni to die for (dont tell Tony Soprano!), and pizza that is out of this world. Salads, fresh baked garlic cheese focassia, and more! The atmosphere is something to see too. Old photos, humorus, curious, vatican memorabilia, and the official "pope's table, which is round, and seats from 15 to 20. And of course, a bust of the new Pope as the centerpiece. This place is a must see, and experience place in Lynnwood Wa. I suggest trying for reservations though. Go ahead, open the door, and step through the table is set, and they are happy you came, because at Buca di Beppo, "You're family." Antimo! - Barb , posted 08/20/05
