you mean, Bamboo Garden?
This place has the best Sesame Tofu. I don't know where they get that perfect taste and texture. I wish they had a few fresh veggie sides to balance out the fried protein, but the service is FAST and the food is delicious. It is the only Chinese place I will eat at.. lol. - Geofre , posted 12/11/06

No Flavor
I find the Bamboo to be flavorless. No matter what dish you get, they all kind of taste the same. Whereas the Teapot has a variety of dishes and all with unique flavor. Definitely prefer Teapot over Bamboo. - K , posted 07/26/05

Good eats, friendly staff
I have been eating at Bamboo Garden for 9 years. Only once did I eat something I didn't like, and Victor took it off the ticket without blinking. I recommend this place to everyone whether vegan, vegetarian, or carnivorous. It's one of my ex-husband's favorite places, and he's practically a T. rex. - Bridget , posted 06/22/05

Good Eats
Excellent food when one eats out with a group. The portions are large and the look on people's faces when they are told that what they think is meat, isn't, is priceless. I generally try to avoid places that don't serve meat, but this place is the exception.

The atmostphere of the restraunt is laid back, and allows for more enjoyment of the atmosphere of the people I'm with. - Unsubscribed , posted 06/18/05

so so at best
i thought the food was greasy, the atmosphere was pretty lame & cheesy, and the waitress we had was not very attentive. it was reasonably priced but that's all i can say as far as a positive. - Robin , posted 04/18/05

go there
Yes the atmosphere is kind of lame, but, the food is good. The menu is almost too large but I've never been disappointed by their dishes.

I think I prefer teapot because of their larger variety of fake meats but bamboo gardens is cheaper feels more casual. - Unsubscribed , posted 11/04/04

Decent food, not so great atmosphere
I thought this restaurant was so-so. The food was on the greasy side and the atmosphere was somewhat lacking. They did have a HUGE variety of food, from traditional veggie stuff (they call it something other than "tofu", though) to all varieties of "fake meat". Interesting menu options - M , posted 10/18/04

Vegan Chinese Cuisine -- Fast and Yummy
Reasonably priced, super fast service, kosher, healthy, fully vegan -- we've taken many non vegetarian friends there and they love it too.

We only make it out there a few times a year and yet the staff always remembers us. - L , posted 09/08/04
