The food is amazing here - on 45th near Metro Cinemas. I have only been to the lunch buffet, which is a great deal (under $10). The food is very fresh and you can sample so many delicious items. Mouth watering. - Kate , posted 12/15/06 |

is there anything better in this world than their avocado curry? i don't think so. :-) - Geofre , posted 12/11/06 |

this place has such a kick-ass vegan thai buffet for 6 bucks! i never was able to get anything else because of the known tastiness of this deal, but i eventually ventured to the menu, and discovered that it is even better! the dishes are a little pricey, but they are huge, enough to fill a couple stomachs at least. curries with avacado to asparagus are super tasty. i lovev pad thai too, so that's a good one to get. no matter what, this place is a must if you're in the university district! - Elric , posted 07/13/06 |

I love this place! I have taken 5 meat eaters there and they all really dug it. I can't stop eating here! - Jennifer , posted 09/27/05 |

I have to say that Araya's complete rocks. Its some of the best vegan food I have ever had. Even my carnivore parents love it. - Colin , posted 08/21/05 |

they don't just have a vegan menu, they have a BIG vegan menu!! holy shit! very very very good. best pad thai around too. cute waitresses. nice staff! they have buffet 11amish to 330pmish daily, a good chance to try 'em out. I once saw a man my size there (no more than 150lbs) at buffet eat 4 f---ing plates of food in one sitting! orgasmic!! aaaaagh!!! but look, I'm not much of a food critic, for all I know I could be missing something. so although I give em the highest ratings I can it's with a vegan toungue, and don't get your hopes up just cus of what peeps like me say - brian , posted 11/23/04 |

Araya has always been good to me. They've got kickass Tom Ka and several tasty curies. The fact that this place is vegan really makes no difference in the end. They serve excellent thai food. period. - Unsubscribed , posted 11/04/04 |

I'm not even a vegetarian or vegan! Araya's is worth a try, even if you're a meat eater! Good stuff! - M , posted 10/18/04 |

Araya's Vegetarian Place 4732 University Way NE 206-524-4332 My husband and I ate supper once at Araya's during our recent visit to Seattle. I ordered a Thai tea and one of the specials of the night (an avocado green curry dish). It was all delicious, and there was enough food for two meals. I liked that there was an option for spiciness (on a scale of 1 to 5) and a choice of white or brown rice. Araya's was a little out of our way (we stayed on Capitol Hill, not in the U-District), but we got lucky with the street parking and thought the food was worth the extra drive. - Unsubscribed , posted 10/14/04 |
