Our client provides essential monitoring to an overall Network Security group. The team is responsible to monitor multiple systems for signs of malicious and/or anomalous activity and respond to determine the cause. They triage incidents, escalate and/or investigate as required and communicate findings in a 24/7 environment.

They are now in need of a Technical Writer to document their policies and procedures. The selected person will be developing new documentation for this team. Your skills will provide a global company with the technical documentation for one of their most important groups. We are seeking seasoned professionals who not only have the technical writing skills, but who also are able to interview technical consultants.


RESPONSIBILITIES
• Plan, write and produce a variety of high-quality user documentation, which may include online help, installation guide, release notes, and other customer-facing documents.
• Become a product expert that can quickly and easily understand Requirements and Designs in order to conduct efficient and effective interviews.
• Design and implement the document architecture and delivery mechanism for the overall product documentation set.
• Document and implement industry recognized uses and best practices for the product.


ESSENTIAL SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS
• Ability to implement all aspects of a documentation project, including information-gathering, doc planning, writing, editing, and production.
• Excellent writing skills with the ability to write clear, concise, and accurate documents.
• Experience writing technical documents in an IT environment
• Experience with systems security documentation is highly desired.
• Excellent interviewing skills that enable you to work efficiently with technical staff.
• Ability to learn quickly in an intense, deadline-driven environment.
• A strong, organized writer who is flexible, a self-starter, and a team player with the ability to prioritize tasks and respond to conflicting requests.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and independently in a busy environment.
• Proficient in RoboHelp, Adobe Frame Maker and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 3 years experience as a technical writer in an enterprise software development environment.
