Granite Xng Data Entry Specialist
Our client is seeking an experienced Granite Xng Data Entry Specialist that is eager to contribute to their reputation of being ranked highest in overall customer’s satisfaction among wireless telephone users in all six regions. Responsibilities:
* Responsible for checking Granite Xng 6.3 database accuracy and integrity as part of a national data cleansing imitative.
* The qualified applicant would be responsible for making sure that standards and procedures are being adhered to through the creation of various accuracy reports.
* Would be responsible for various aspects of milestone completion within audits and clean up of database.
* Responsible for Granite Xng database audit processes and data fill.
* Responsible for recommendations to cleanse the data base.
* Responsible for making procedural recommendations for cross connects, CFA allocation, engineering, transport design, network architecture related to the Granite Xng data base.
* Interface with other regions and departments including Operations, project management team.
* 8am - 5pm PT M/F
Required Skills:
* Excellent knowledge of transport backhaul networks.
* Should have some exposure to DACS equipment from Alcatel and Tellabs and be familiar with GSM and 3G devices and circuits.
* Experience with working closely with a cross-functional group of engineers, analysts and support staff.
* Knowledge and experience with the following applications: Microsoft Office, Visio and Xpercom. Remedy, Granite Xng.
* Very strong MS Access knowledge with ability to write database applications and perform ad hoc reporting queries.
* Good exposure to Granite/ XNG/ Xngweb, and Network Element Naming Standards.
* Strong understanding of network back haul facility layout including equipment layout.
* Strong knowledge of Carrier Network equipment (voice and data, GSM and 3G) required.
* 5-10 years in Telecommunications, and at least 1-3 years experience in circuit design, planning and integration.
* Prefer experience working on a large scale data migration project successfully implemented.
* Should have strong interpersonal and management skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
* Knowledge in process flow methodology, business analysis & traffic modeling capability, network design and transmission systems.
