Small room available immediately in a co-op light house. Base price is $300 utilities can cost up to $150(depending on the month), and since it is a group house we have a food share program which can run anywhere between $70-$110 each month. The room is big enough for a bed, a dresser, and hanging clothes, and an additional larger room is shared with one other roommate. The location is awesome, it is walking distance to the U district as well as to the main drag of Wallingford, and it is right across the street from a tasty taco truck.
Currently there are six people living in this house, all of which are great and I am sorry to be leaving :( Hoping to find a female to keep the balance at 3 women 3 men in the house)
Current inhabitants include:
A massage therapist, nanny/student, chemist/chef, student/mycologist, and a computer programmer. There are also 2 cats that live in the house and 3 chickens in the backyard that lay yummy eggs!
Some of the housemate interests include bikes (riding, maintaining, collecting), yoga, soccer, making yummy meals (including home made goat ice cream), crafts projects, going to see live music.....and much more!
And sorry, no pets allowed.
