Beginning Burlesque Fan Dancing with Indigo Blue
THIS SATURDAY 2/23
Learn the basics of fan handling using ANYTHING as a fan dancing prop. Instruction includes: hand positioning and body moves for hiding, teasing, and revealing; Construction of feather and non-conventional fans; Sourcing and choosing materials; Incorporating movements into the dance. Students are encouraged to bring their own fans, and may also practice with Indigo’s collection of small, medium, and large fans, including paper and ostrich feather fans.
Class is held in 1500sq ft well-lit studio with two walls of mirrors for excellent visibility and space to practice.
